KARACHI – Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings by 6 wickets in the first match of PSL Seven. Fakhr Zaman scored a magnificent century.
Karachi Kings gave Lahore Qalandars a target of 171 runs to win which they achieved in the last over.
Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan, the opening pair of Karachi Kings, formed an excellent partnership of 84 runs where Sharjeel Khan was dismissed for 60 runs.
Babar Azam played an innings of 41 runs, while Joe Clarke’s 24 and Mohammad Nabi’s 15 helped Karachi Kings reach 170 runs.
It should be noted that Karachi Kings failed in their first two matches while Lahore Qalandars also started the event with failure.
