Houston, TX, USA: A meeting was held at Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Houston, USA to discuss the programme and its preparations to observe the day (Youm-e-Tasees) when Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had founded the PPP 55 years ago.
In this regard, a meeting was held at Houston, USA, President PPP Houston Fahad Hussain in the chair.
Addressing the meeting the PPP Houston President said that Chairman PPP Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had founded the party on November 30, 1967. He added that the basic purpose of forming PPP was to raise a voice for the restoration of democracy and struggle against the dictatorship.
At Youm-e-Tasees, the party workers reiterate their commitment to tread the footsteps their leaders Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to build a modern, progressive and democratic Pakistan in which everyone, particularly the poor, the dispossessed, the marginalized and the minorities, all live with honor and dignity,” he said.
He further said that under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Pakistan Peoples Party would continue its struggle to implement the vision of its founding Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The PPP had always served the masses with distinction and it would continue doing so in future as well.
