Electricity is 3.5 rupees more expensive per unit from today
The government has increased the price of electricity by three and a half rupees per unit from today.
Federal Minister Khurram Dastgir has said that electricity prices will increase further within three months, only oil prices have decreased.
He said that gas has almost disappeared in the global market, three months are difficult. There will be a decrease after November.
The federal minister said that one-third of the consumers will not be affected by the increase in the price of electricity.
Minister of State Mossadegh Malik said that what has happened is not our responsibility, we have to pay the price of three or four years.
