Eid Message from the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi
On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I take immense pleasure in extending my warmest
greetings and heartiest felicitations to our Pakistani brothers and sisters, the Government of
Pakistan, its dedicated officials, the valiant members of the Armed Forces, and my esteemed
colleagues in the diplomatic community. As we celebrate this day of spiritual reflection and joy,
we are reminded of the profound values of compassion and unity that bind our two nations
together., I send my special wishes to the Sri Lankan professionals and the vibrant community of
Sri Lankan students pursuing their dreams across Pakistan for a blessed and peaceful Eid,
acknowledging your role as vital ambassadors of our motherland.
Sri Lanka remains deeply grateful for the unwavering and unconditional support extended by the
Government of Pakistan during our most challenging times, a testament to a friendship that
transcends mere diplomacy. This bond is further strengthened by the “forever love” and
unparalleled hospitality consistently shown by the Pakistani people toward their Sri Lankan
counterparts, fostering a relationship built on mutual respect and shared heritage. Such an
enduring partnership serves as a cornerstone for our continued cooperation and prosperity within
the region.
At this difficult moment in global history, our thoughts and prayers are with those facing
hardship and conflict, and we collectively pray for the restoration of harmony across the globe.
May the blessings of this holy day inspire a spirit of reconciliation and understanding among all
nations. We pray that Allah graces the world with His divine peace, guiding us toward a future
defined by stability, kindness, and collective well-being.
Eid Mubarak to all.
