A graceful and heartwarming Easter Celebration 2026 was held at Dar-ul-Sukun Welfare Society, Lemmens Home, Karachi, bringing together members of the Christian community for an evening filled with faith, joy, and compassion.
The event was honored by the presence of His Eminence Joseph Cardinal Coutts, Cardinal of Pakistan and recipient of Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, as the Chief Guest. His presence added great spiritual significance to the celebration.
The event was hosted by Rev. Sister Nargis Sadiq, Rev. Sister Fazilat Inayat, Mrs. Jennifer (Social Activist), and Mr. Bryan Everest Benedict (Philanthropist), whose efforts made the event meaningful and memorable.
Special recognition is given to the generous donors who supported this event: Mr. Abraham Isaac, Mr. Arshad, Mr. Mitesh Ram, and Mr. Sultan. Their contributions played an important role in making the celebration successful.
The event created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests shared moments of unity, kindness, and celebration, reflecting the true spirit of Easter.
It is important to highlight that in Pakistan, people from all communities and backgrounds live together in peace and harmony. This spirit of unity is especially visible in Karachi, Sindh, where diverse cultures and religions coexist with mutual respect and understanding.
The celebration was also attended by community members and guests, including myself, as part of this meaningful gathering. The event was beautifully covered, highlighting its message of love, hope, and togetherness.
The evening truly reflected the essence of Easter — faith, renewal, and compassion.
