Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar congratulated Dr. Ashfaq, new Chairman FBR

KARACHI – Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig former SVP FPCCI & Secretary Information United Business Group (UBG) congratulated Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed for his appointed new Chairman FBR. Dr. Baig said that the appointment reflects the confidence of the Prime Minister, Finance Minister and the Government on his abilities looking at his proven track record. He said Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed and his team always achieved and surpassed all revenue targets during his tenure as Member Inland Revenue Operations. Dr. Baig also give credit to Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed for tax reforms in FBR to facilitate tax payers particularly FASTER system for refund of sale tax in 72 hours. Dr. Baig called it a laudable decision of the Govt. and assured his full cooperation from the bodies of trade & industry.
