KARACHI – Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig former SVP FPCCI & Secretary Information United Business Group (UBG) congratulated Chairman FBR Asim Ahmed and Member IR Operations Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed and their team, collecting Rs. 4,721 billion as against target Rs. 4,691 billion exceeding by Rs. 30 billion for the year 2020-21.
Dr. Baig called it impressive growth and hope that looking at the consisting growth in revenue collection, FBR will be able to achieve Rs. 5,829 billion. Dr. Baig appreciated FBR new FASTER system for prompt payments of sales tax surpassing sales tax target by Rs. 317 billion this year. He also appreciated business community for higher tax payments.
