Dr.Baig urges political parties to resolve issues to avoid economic collapse.

Karachi, May 16^th, 2023: Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig former Senior Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and Information Secretary United Business Group (UBG) urges political parties and stake holders to immediately sit-down in the national interest to save Pakistan from economic collapse. The large scale manufacturing (LSM) shrank 25% in March for the 7^th consecutive month this year, alarming decline 29% in export of textile causing massive unemployment and poverty in the country. Due to prevailing political instability, delay in IMF program, rupee volatility, and uncertain economic situation, the business community is badly affected and decided to play their role to sit with the political parties and stake holders to resolve current turmoil before its further deteriorate the situation. The leading businessmen, industrialist and exporters have assured their support to Pakistan Armed Forces and condemned the recent act of aggression and attack on Armed Forces installations.
