Hyderabad: The meeting started with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by an introduction of all participants. The Readiness meeting was chaired by worthy Deputy commissioner, Mr. Tariq Qureshi, and Co-chaired by PEOC Cordinator, Mr. Irshad Sodhar. The meeting was participated by DHO, ADC-II, TL WHO, Assistant commissioners, Rotary Club, ADHOs, DFP PEI /EPI, DTF, and DEOC Team.
The presentation was given by ADC-II, Mr. Qaim Akbar Nimai, regarding NID Oct readiness, district performance of the last 5 SIAs, strategies adopted, and challenges with a way forward.
Member of Rotary Club Qasimabad Najam Sheikh asked about the progress of three polio containers handed over. One container is missing and 2 containers are in RCGH Latifabad no. 6 they advised arranging the polio meeting for this issue but the President of Galaxy Rotary Club Hyderabad Dr Sarfraz Ahmed Qureshi says it’s better to functional the containers rather than to arrange the meeting.
