Karachi : Deputy Consul General NAKAGAWA Yasushi visited Iqra University’s main campus in Karachi, where he discussed Japan-Pakistan relations in Urdu. The event was organized by the Pakistan Japan Literature Forum (PJLF) and Iqra University, aimed to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.
In his remarks, Deputy Consul General highlighted that the two countries share similarities in several aspects as Asian countries. He mentioned potential for further development of Japan-Pakistan bilateral relationship and expressed his renewed gratitude for the swift response of Pakistani community in Japan during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
During the event, he entertained the participants with his saxophone performance, showcasing “Lal Meri Pat”, “Aadat,” and the Pakistani national anthem, accompanied by Iqra University’s Musical Society.
