KATI’s delegation, led by Mr. Syed Jawad Muzaffar, Deputy Commissioner Korangi, and Mr. Zahid Hameed, Chairman Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – Standing Committee KATI, recently visited ChildLife’s children’s Emergency Room (ER) at Sindh Govt. Hospital Korangi-5 (K-5), Karachi.
During their visit, the delegation learned about ChildLife’s model of emergency care which includes an improved infrastructure, 100+ trained staff, life-saving equipments, well-stocked pharmacy, and a fully automated system running 24/7. They also spoke with our on-ground clinical staff who explained about the life-saving care being provided to children 24/7. To date, more than 500,000+ children have been treated in the ER, free-of-cost.
