As the 4th edition of the Health, Engineering, and Minerals Show (HEMS) approaches, anticipation continues to mount for what is poised to be Pakistan’s most significant trade exhibition of the year. Scheduled to take place from April 17 to 19, 2025, at the Expo Centre, Lahore, the event is being organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce. The event is set to welcome over 194+ exhibitors, and more than 900+ international delegates from 70 countries making it one of the most significant trade events in Pakistan to date.
HEMS 2025 unites three of Pakistan’s most dynamic sectors, healthcare, engineering, and minerals, under one platform, providing unmatched international collaboration, investment, and business development opportunities. This year’s edition is expected to be the largest and most impactful yet, showcasing an expansive range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, automotive auto parts, cutlery, sports goods, furniture, chemicals, light engineering, minerals, and more.
In tandem, the Mineral Investment Pavilion, a new and expanded concept this year, will serve as a hub for direct interaction between investors, policymakers, and mining sector experts, presenting curated insights into evolving market trends and sectoral potential. Another stand-out addition to the exhibition is the Gems and Jewelry segment, designed to highlight Pakistan’s artisanal excellence and rich gemstone heritage, opening new channels for trade and global engagement.
As part of the expanded programming under the banner of HEMS 2025, a dedicated Gems and Jewelry Show will also be held for the first time in Pakistan. This exclusive fashion showcase will take place on April 17, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore. The event will bring together multiple talented jewelry designers, 8 jewellery designers collaborating with top 8 fashion designers who will exhibit their finest creations in a high-profile runway show. Models will grace the ramp wearing exquisite pieces highlighting Pakistan’s exceptional craftsmanship and rich gemstone heritage. While the Gems and Jewelry Show is a standalone event, it remains an integral part of the HEMS 2025 experience, amplifying the exhibition’s commitment to promoting diverse sectors of Pakistani industry on an international stage. The show elevates Pakistan’s profile in the global luxury goods market while creating new avenues for exports in the high-value gems and jewelry sector. It also provides an opportunity for local artisans and designers to network with international buyers, opening doors for long-term collaborations and business growth.
Other new features for 2025 include, interactive B2B engagement zones, industrial site visits to showcase Pakistan’s manufacturing strength, and special startup demonstrations aimed at spotlighting emerging Pakistani talent. HEMS will also facilitate interactions with trade promotion organizations and regulatory authorities, ensuring that every level of trade facilitation and policy dialogue is represented. Attendees will also benefit from sessions focused on emerging trends in engineering and allied industries.
HEMS 2025 will cater to a wide audience, including brand developers, traders, sourcing agents, chain stores, e-commerce platforms, healthcare product distributors, engineering product specialists, trade promotion organizations, and government regulatory authorities. It is expected to serve as a catalyst for long-term business partnerships through its structured business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking framework, a hallmark feature of the event.
In 2024, the previous edition of HEMS (formerly the Engineering & Healthcare Show) drew more than 650 international buyers from nearly 60 countries, resulting in numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and direct business agreements across sectors. With robust support from TDAP’s Missions Abroad, foreign delegations for 2025 are expected to surpass previous records.
TDAP has also launched a dedicated portal, https://hems.tdap.gov.pk , featuring comprehensive event information, downloadable brochures, and a tailored Hospitality Criteria package to facilitate seamless participation and travel planning for international delegates.
More than a traditional trade show, HEMS 2025 represents a bold vision for Pakistan’s future in global commerce, a platform that celebrates industrial strength, cultivates strategic partnerships, and opens new frontiers in innovation. As the grand stage is set, attendees should get ready to explore the world of trade enterprise, expertise, and opportunity.
