Showbiz Desk: American Model Chrissy Teigen and award-winning singer husband John Legend are expecting a third child nearly two years after a miscarriage.
Two years ago in October 2020, Chrissy Teigen shared posts on social media describing the experience of losing her child.
On Wednesday, Teigen posted two photos of her baby bump on Instagram, declaring: “The last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.”
About her pregnancy check-up, she wrote, “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
The couple shared a heartbreaking post in 2020 in which the couple informed fans of the loss of their son Jack at 20 weeks of pregnancy. Before the miscarriage, Teigen was hospitalized for heavy bleeding. That same year, Teigen wrote in an article that doctors reported some medical complications. But now Teigen is urging people to share their stories and empathize with those who are grieving.
