During the hearing in the Islamabad High Court on the petition filed against the torture of the prisoner in Adiala Jail, the Chief Justice decided to visit the jail.
While hearing the case, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Athar Minullah said that the Ministry of Human Rights has extraordinary powers.
The court remarked that the Ministry of Human Rights can ask for a report not only from Islamabad but also from the provinces.
The Chief Justice addressed the Human Rights Secretary and said that tomorrow you will visit Adiala Jail with me.
