Karachi : Khurram Tariq Sayeed, CEO Iran-Pak Wind Power under the leadership of Mr. Hassan Nourian, Consul General of Iran in Karachi called on Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Provincial Minister of Energy, Planning & Development, Government of Sindh.
Also present on the occassion were first counsel Mr. Amir Jafari, Secretary Energy GOS Musadiq Ahmed Khan, CEO Sindh Transmission & Dispatch Company (STDC) Saleem Shaikh & Director Alternative Energy Dept. GOS Mehfooz Qazi. The delegation briefed the Minister on the progress of the Iran-Pak Wind Power project and other on going initiatives by the Iranian investors in the energy sector of Pakistan esp Sindh Province. The delegation appreciated the efforts being undertaken by Mr. Nasir Hussain Shah since taking over charge as Minister of Energy after the recent elections. Mr. Shah assured the delegation that all impediments will be removed in order to fast track the wind power projects in Sindh.
