KARACHI – A healthy lifestyle involves a lot of things under it, including a nutritional diet, daily exercise, adequate sleep, being happy, and thinking positively. When we do all the necessary elements to have a healthy lifestyle, our lives are going on the right path. CEBO & CHEF Samina Jamil has a vision to develop healthy communities in Pakistan through its programs and initiatives. According to International Diabetes Federation, over 19 million Pakistani’s are now living with diabetes and the number is increasing. To create awareness on the alarming increase in the prevalence of diabetes and strategies to manage it, A wing of Cebo Management Company, CEBO Healthy lifestyle conducted a seminar titled “Healthy Living with Diabetes” on Tuesday, 30th November, 2021 at Chughtai Healthcare Head Office.
The event started with a welcome note from team CEBO Healthy lifestyle & CHEF SAMIA JAMIL who talked about Continued dedication to educate the public about important healthcare issues and the necessity of preventive care.
Dr.Arun Kumar, a general physician at Chughtai Medical Center, was the first to speak, discussing the reasons of diabetes and why it is growing more frequent. “Diabetes is a severe disease in Pakistan,” Dr.Arun added, “and everyone should get themselves checked periodically and eat a healthier diet to keep protected.” SyedaAfshan Ali, Lead Diabetes Educator at EHAD Healthcare, led the second session on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and taking preventive measures to avoid diabetes. “It is critical to live a healthy lifestyle not only to prevent diabetes but also to prevent other ailments,” she said. To stay healthy and avoid life-threatening diseases, start making minor changes in your lifestyle.”
The session also included experience sharing by the our respected community members who talked about their journeys with diabetes and the efforts they made to control it. The event was attended by professionals, industry experts, and whole Chugthai Lab team.
With lengthy debates and deliberations, the event came to a pleasant conclusion. Our members praised CEBO’s efforts to educate the community about the importance of health and pledged to include healthy activities into their daily routines as well as educate others.
