Karachi: Pakistani film ‘Cake’ has been chosen as the official assignment in the classification of ‘Outside Language Film Award’ for the 91st Academy Awards planned to happen on February 24, 2019.
The choice was finished by two-time Academy and Emmy Award-winning producer Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who seats the Pakistani Academy Selection group that includes , Ali Sethi,Kamila Shamshi, , HM Naqvi,Saira Kazmi, Hadiqa Kiani , Nadeem Farooq Paracha,Zoe Viccaji, Nabila Maqsoo ,Faisal Qureishi andKhalid Malik.
“We are eager to proceed with the custom of sending films from Pakistan in the remote dialect classification of the foundation grants! Every year, the entries end up more grounded and we are keeping our fingers crossed that one of nowadays we will leave away with a brilliant statue!” Sharmeen told a neighborhood media outlet.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will waitlist the last designations for all honor classifications in January 2019.
