The Foreign Minister of Germany has conferred Rahmatullah Javed the prestigious award “President of Germany Special Award” in recognition of his contribution to trade relations between Germany and Pakistan. Rahmatullah is also Gold Medal for promoting Technical Education & Skill Development by LCCI and FPCCI to serve the cause of SME by MR. Amin Faheem Former Federal Minister of Pakistan in 2011-2012.
Rehmatullah Javed is the Chairman of SME Committee LCCI since 1983. Rehmatullah Javed is the Board Member of TEVTA since 2015. Rehmatullah Javed is chairman of various councils and forums. He is the Chairman of Pak Sri Lanka Business Council of Pakistan in 2006-2013, SME – FPCCI Central Committee in 2013, Lahore Business Forum – LBF, Pakistan USA Business Council in 2016, Skill Development Council – Punjab, Ministry of Professional & Technical Training, Government of Pakistan in 2010-2012, Pak German Technical Center (GTZ) – Gulberg, Lahore in 1990-97, Engineering Component & Machinery Manufacturing Association of Pakistan (ECMMA) in 1990-2007, Pak Germany Business Council – FPCCI in 1990 and Technical Training & Skill Development Committee LCCI in 1990-97.
Rehmatullah Javed is the Founder of TEVTA in 1998 and a Board Member in 2018. He is also a Founder Member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Lahore Businessman Association for the Rehabilitation of Disabled (LABARD). Rehmatullah is an Executive Committee Member of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1974, 1977, 1983, 1986, 1994-1997 and Managing Committee Member of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce in 2005-2010.
