Houston’s Pakistan-American community is grieving after losing an influential member, Pervez Iqbal, to coronavirus. Pervez Iqbal was an American success story, but his life was cut short by the deadly virus.
After immigrating to Houston in the 90′ with his wife, they raised three children and worked hard to establish a range of businesses in Houston. He was simply an honest man, an amazing personality, and left no one behind to say anything against him. He was a great mentor with his great experience of life and wisdom. He was true problem solver and best companion.
He loved being surrounded by the ones and with biggest list of friendship from Houston to all over USA and from Lahore to Pakistan, he adored the most in gatherings and being part of serval NGO’s & Organizations as Member, Co Founder, President & Volunteer with vision to help & assist the community for decades starring from Pakistan to USA. He was a part of several charity organizations.
He owns an auto-body shop, many convenience stores and shopping centers throughout the city. Pervez Iqbal was also a leader. In 1997 he was a founding member of the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce USA. Years later, he served as the president in 2014 and was most recently on the ten member advisory council.
