Burcu Kiratli is a Turkish film and television actress and a model from 2010 up till now.. She was born on July 23, 1989 in Istanbul Turkey. She went to Yeditepe University in faculty of Communication, Visual Communication Design with a bachelor’s degree. She was married to Sinan Akcil who was a singer and a song writer in the Turkish consulate in Amsterdam, Netherlands on December 24, 2018 with a simple marriage ceremony but the couple was divorced in September 2019. The couple again married for the second time February 22, 2021 in a grand marriage ceremony.
She is well known for her role in Dirilis Ertugrul as Gokce as well as in Ask ve Mavi and Peri Masali. She performed in many theatre plays and short movie projects during her studies. She took acting education from Mujdat Gezen Art Academy and then worked as a permanent actress for 2 years. She started her acting career with the theatre plays Mustafa Kemalim, Gozlerimi Kaparim and Vazifemi Yaparim.
She has been working in a variety of advertising campaigns and also appeared in different magazine covers, articles, and editorials across Turkey. She also did a bridal campaign with Pakistan. She appeared in Peri Masali as Peri. As it was her first success, she got the Best New Actress of the Year award at Digital Turkish Traditional Award Ceremony in 2015. Peri Masali was selected as one of the Best Turkish Love Films of 2000. Then she appeared in Dirilis Ertugrul as Gokce for the starting two seasons in December 2014 on TRT 1. For this role she received the Best Actress Award by the jury of Ministry of Youth and Sports & Best Actress of the Year Award by public votes.
Burcu Kiratli is going to appear in her upcoming film “7 Melek” which will be released in 2021. The film is based on a real story that tells the life story of 7 female police officers in Ankara Golbasi Special Operations, which has suffered the greatest damage in the coup attempt in July 2016.
Burcu Kiratli received an award at Turk Sinemasini Gecmisten Gelecege Tasiyanlar ceremony for her contribution in Turk cinema on 8 October 2020. Between 2016–2018, she won the Drama Actress of the Year award at Datca Golden Almond Awards in 2017 for her role in drama serial Ask ve Mavi as Mavi. She also won the Golden Palm Award for TV Series Actress of the Year in 2018. The show also won the best director and best producer award at Golden Palm Awards and the Best Drama Series of the Year at Dizisi Awards in 2017. She further received The Most Stylish Actress of the Year 2019-2020 award from Istanbul University Fashion Society and received an award at Turk Sinemasini Gecmisten Gelecege Tasiyanlar ceremony for her contribution to Turkish cinema on 8 October 2020.
