Islamabad: Brig. Muhammad Aslam Khan (Retd) has been elected as Chairman of the Pakistan Economy Watch. He has served on different important posts in the military where he served for 31 years while has a rich experience of serving different civilian departments.
The new chairman of PEW has served Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company as CEO for four years while has also worked in the Cabinet Division as Joint Secretary and Director External affairs.
Brig. Aslam has also served as Director of National Commission for Human Development, General Manager of Mari Gas Company Limited and as Chairman of Gomal Damaan Area Water Partnership.
Speaking at the occasion, he said that he will try his best to come up to the expectations of the people who have supported hi and try his best to serve the nation.
At the occasion, Dr. Murtaza Mughal said that Brig. Aslam has diversified experience in water, development, energy and security sectors.
He has developed a reputation of one of Pakistan’s most capable water specialists through his years of research in the field and working with the provincial and federal governments to overcome water-related challenges.
He paid glowing tributes to the services of Brig. Muhammad Aslam Khan and hoped that he will employ best of his abilities to serve the nation from this platform.
