Engineer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has launched a free laptop scheme for the graduates of the “Bano Qabil” program.

He made the announcement while addressing thousands of students participating in the “Bano Qabil Aptitude Test” in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman emphasized that Pakistan’s 250 million people should have a unified system, standard, and curriculum. He stated that the nation should be provided with a system based on the principles of equality.

Several prominent personalities attended the event, including education expert Dr. Ishrat Hussain, former test cricketer Sadiq Mohammad, renowned actors Behrooz Sabzwari, Ayaz Khan, Zeba Shahnaz, and others, who encouraged the participants with their speeches.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman highlighted that 60% of Pakistan’s population is under 30 years old, and 80% is under 40. He encouraged the youth to focus their energy on positive endeavors and urged them not to be swayed towards migration but to focus on learning new skills.

He also spoke about the vast export opportunities based on information technology and expressed that the Bano Qabil program would be a revolutionary step in this regard.

He informed that over 48,000 students have completed Bano Qabil courses in recent years, and Jamaat-e-Islami is actively working to provide job opportunities for these graduates.

In the first phase, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced that 10,000 laptops would be distributed among the Bano Qabil graduates based on their performance to help them secure jobs in the global market.

He urged the youth and people of Karachi to fight for their rights and rid themselves of dishonest rulers. He stated, “Pakistan belongs to the youth, not the generals, capitalists, or influential individuals.”

Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer, Muneem Zafar, also spoke at the event. He mentioned that the youth were being misled about Pakistan’s future and appealed to them not to fall prey to propaganda but to serve their motherland.
