South Korea: Several years ago, South Korean YouTuber and singer David Kim, who converted to Islam, announced plans to build a mosque in Korea.
Sharing images on Instagram of the purchased land and documents for the mosque’s construction, David Kim announced the mosque’s construction in Incheon, South Korea.
In the shared images, David Kim can be seen holding mosque documents in his hand and spreading peace on the land purchased for the mosque.
The caption of the post shared by David Kim stated, “Finally, with your help, I have contracted the land in Incheon for the construction of the mosque. This place will soon be transformed into a mosque. I can’t believe the day has come.”
David Kim wrote that he intends to build a mosque and an Islamic podcast studio for the residents of South Korea, and this is indeed a very big step that will come with many challenges, but I believe I can do it.
