Karachi Pakistan : At the French Cultural Centre, a variety of activities were organised, including a scale exhibition, thrift and pop-up stalls, a fashion talk, and a block-printing workshop.

According to the Director of the French Cultural Centre, the purpose of these activities is to provide students with opportunities to learn about art under one roof. Report by Syed Zubair Rashid.

Like the rest of the world, Pakistan is also observing World HIV/AIDS Awareness Day today.
An awareness seminar was held at the Karachi Press Club in collaboration with the Sindh AIDS Control Programme, the Sindh Health Department, and the Karachi Press Club Health Committee. After the seminar, an awareness rally was also taken out.

Additional Director CDC-I HIV/AIDS Dr. Kanwal Mustafa and Deputy Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Buzdar said that HIV/AIDS is a treatable disease. They emphasised that timely information and access to testing are essential. Diagnosis and treatment centres have been established across the province, where all facilities are being provided free of cost.

Nursing students participating in the rally said that spreading awareness among hospital visitors and the general public is the need of the hour, and nurses are playing an active role in this campaign.
