KARACHI: prominent Artist Aliya Faizi is set to unveil her latest solo exhibition, titled “Parwaz” (Flight), . Then Art Galleries exhibition was inaugurated by Tara Uzra Dawood, Founder & President of Dawood Global Foundation and LADIESFUND.
“Parwaz” features a collection of conceptual paintings that represent a year-long artistic journey. Through this series, Faizi utilizes birds as a central symbol to explore the human experience of embarking on new journeys in search of a true destination. The artist describes the theme as a transition toward hope and self-discovery, while simultaneously exploring the paradox of liberation and the physical and emotional distance it creates.

Faizi’s work is characterized by a unique artistic practice she calls “pottery paint,” which explores the connection between humanity and clay. Her style is a fusion of East and West, employing calligraphy and semi-abstract cubism to highlight the beauty of the human form. Working primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas, Faizi uses vibrant, bright hues to celebrate life, happiness, and the spirit’s power to overcome dullness.



“I believe the audience will deeply resonate with this feeling through my work, recognizing the bittersweet reality of moving forward while leaving something behind,” says Aliya Faizi. “Through Parwaz, I invite the audience to resonate with this journey of transition, where the soul, like a bird, finds its true path through color and form.
