Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized that art and culture play a vital role in projecting a positive and soft image of Pakistan globally.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Nasir Javed, Chairman of Crescent Art Gallery, at the Governor House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated the gallery’s efforts in promoting art and culture, noting that regular art exhibitions showcasing both local and international artists are commendable. He assured full cooperation from his office in supporting such initiatives.
Nasir Javed briefed the governor on the gallery’s ongoing activities, highlighting its commitment to promoting artists without discrimination. He said Crescent Art Gallery has been actively organizing exhibitions across Karachi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and other regions of the country.
He added that the gallery also conducts group discussions, workshops, and seminars involving senior artists to guide emerging talent and enhance their skills. A comprehensive strategy, he said, is in place to support young artists and help them advance in the field.
During the meeting, Nasir Javed announced plans to hold an art exhibition at the Governor House in October. He also presented an 8×7 feet portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah to the governor.
