Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted interim bail to PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Raja Jawad Abbas heard the case against Chairman PTI Imran Khan for threatening a female Additional Sessions Judge.
Arguments of Babar Awan
Imran Khan appeared before the court along with a team of lawyers.
Imran Khan’s lawyer Babar Awan argued that the complainant in the FIR is a magistrate. According to the prosecution, 3 people were threatened in the speech. .
Babar Awan said that the three are not the complainants, terrorism provisions were imposed in the case.
What is the threat of the words ‘shame’? Babar Awan
Lawyer Babar Awan said that the words ‘shame’ are threats? Do not abuse, be ashamed, these words are often used in the society, Imran Khan said that IG and DIG, we have to file a case against you.
Babar Awan said not to kill, he was asked to file a case, he said that you should also prepare, action will be taken against you, Imran Khan did not say that he should be killed.
The court issued notices to the police and the plaintiff on Imran Khan’s bail application.
It is feared that Imran Khan will be arrested, Babar Awan
Lawyer Babar Awan said that it is feared that Imran Khan will be arrested, Imran Khan is already on bail in 18-19 cases.
Babar Awan said that Asad Umar was in a rally in Lahore, he has also been included in this FIR.
The court inquired that where is Imran Khan? On which Imran Khan stood on the seat and he attended the court.
Imran Khan’s interim bail for Rs 1 lakh
After hearing Babar Awan’s arguments, the court granted interim bail to Imran Khan on a bond of Rs 1 lakh and stopped the police from arresting him till September 1.
Imran Khan left the court
After the bail was granted, Imran Khan left the Anti-Terrorism Court.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Chairman PTI said that due to fear, they are making fun of the country to give me a technical knockout and save themselves.
The walk-through gate was broken during the launch
Earlier, Imran Khan’s car was not allowed to enter the judicial complex, he came to the court on foot.
On the occasion of Imran Khan’s arrival, the security personnel who accompanied him broke the walk-through gate during Dhakkam Peal.
On the occasion of Imran Khan’s appearance in Islamabad, despite Article 144, PTI workers gathered outside ATC.
Imran Khan’s position in the bail application
Earlier, Imran Khan’s bail application was filed in the Anti-Terrorism Court by Babar Awan and Ali Bukhari.
In the petition, it was argued that a case of terrorism has been made for retaliatory action by the police.
The court was requested to grant the bail application.
Imran Khan was ordered to appear today
Islamabad High Court granted Imran Khan’s protective bail for 3 days.
The Supreme Court had directed Imran Khan to approach the concerned court today (August 25).
A case has been registered against Chairman PTI in Margalla police station under terrorism provisions.
Strict security arrangements
Before the appearance of Imran Khan, strict security arrangements were made around the Federal Judicial Complex, additional police force was deployed.
Roads around the judicial complex were closed, entry of non-related persons was blocked.
400 policemen deployed
On the occasion of Imran Khan’s appearance, 400 police personnel were stationed around the judicial complex.
FC personnel were also assisting police personnel in security arrangements while an armored personnel carrier was also present outside the judicial complex.
