Karachi: Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Healthcare Devices Association of Pakistan (HDAP) held here yesterday, Karachi. Purpose of AGM was to announce the results of Elections and office bearers for the term of 2021-22 and update members about the progress of HDAP during last term. Naeem Chaudhary elected as Chairman, Irfan Vohra elected as Senior Vice Chairman and Dr. Tasmia Abeer Billo elected as Vice Chairman. Elections on six vacant positions (3 Corporate & 3 Associate) of Executive Committee held simultaneously at Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad. Masood Ahmed, Naeem Chaudhary and Irfan Vohra elected as Corporate Category Members of Executive Committee and Adnan A. Siddiqui, Ahmar Zaman and Mushtaq Ahmed elected as Executive Committee Members of Associate Category. Naeem Chaudhary took over the reins of HDAP from Dr. Zafar Hashmi who presided as Chairman during 2020-21. Under Dr. Zafar Hashimi’s leadership HDAP achieved several milestones and strengthened its position as the only platform of Medical Devices & Diagnostic industry in Pakistan. HDAP represents over 200 companies including multinational & national companies and both importers & manufacturers of Medical Devices & Diagnostic companies working to ‘save & improve the quality of lives’ for people of Pakistan.
