Karachi: Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights, Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui to mark the start of Hijra New Year 1445 AH. He made the call in his official message commemorating the Islamic New Year 1445. The Global Peace Ambassador & Human Rights extended his warmest greetings and good wishes and congratulations to the people of Pakistan and to the Islamic governments, and everyone on Tuesday at Karachi shared a heartfelt message for everyone.
Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that the month of Muharram was given importance even before the advent of Islam. He appealed to the nation on Tuesday to renounce jealousy and division and to promote love, unity and harmony. He said Islam increased the month’s significance. The Islamic New Year reminds us of all of the auspicious events of Hijra, of the holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (SAW), and stated that the Hijra itself is a huge Islamic sacrifice made by our Islamic ancestors.
The Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights, Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui honored the beginning of the Islamic New Year by praising Prophet Muhammad SAW (PBUH) and the righteous impact he had on humanity through his teachings of love, compassion, and the Islamic Hidayah. He went on to urge Muslims across the globe to draw morals from the Hijra journey and use the values to improve their lives whenever possible.
As we say goodbye to a calendar year and welcome another new one, it is a wonderful opportunity to look back, learn from past mistakes and renew commitments to strive for a better future. According to him, the most significant message conveyed through the Hijra incident is to remain steadfast against violence and injustice.
Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that these events taught us to stand against injustice and tyranny and to remain steadfast at the forefront of the fight against injustice, protecting human dignity and the significance of human rights advocacy. He said that the month symbolizes sacrifice and brotherhood. We must work together for the prosperity of the nation and our entire world. The Hijra is an inspiring chapter in our history, with valuable lessons for humanity. This year is a peaceful one for Muslims around the globe.
With this being said, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Chairman Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui urged Pakistanis to build the nation on a foundation of love, peace, and harmony, leaving a legacy of economic and social prosperity for future generations. ICPH to solidify social bonds and work “together” to ensure peace and harmony in communities nationwide. He added that they continue to demonstrate qualities for the development of a “modern” society. May Allah Kareem the New Year bring strength and prosperity to all those working tirelessly.
