Karachi: The Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) proudly hosted its White Coat Ceremony marking the beginning of an inspiring academic journey for newly admitted students. The event reflected the institute’s strong commitment to excellence, professionalism, and the highest standards of dental education.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Vice Principal & Associate Dean of Basic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sheema Farhan, delivered the welcome address, introducing the institute’s academic vision and extending warm greetings to students and their families.
Principal Prof. Dr. Hasnain Sakrani addressed the gathering and inspired students with insights from his professional journey, emphasizing integrity, dedication, compassion, and perseverance as the foundation of a successful dental career.
A key highlight of the event was the White Coat Ceremony, symbolizing the students’ formal induction into the healthcare profession. White coats were presented by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Altamash (President, Sitara-e-Imtiaz), Institute Dean Prof. Dr. Ambreen Afzal (Vice President CPSP), Prof. Dr. Hasnain Sakrani, and Prof. Dr. Sheema Farhan.
The ceremony concluded with Prof. Dr. Ambreen Afzal administering the professional oath, formally initiating students into their journey as ethical and compassionate dental professionals committed to serving society.
