(May 13) Pakistan Tehreek Shadbad Chairman Dr. Hanif Mughal on Saturday said during the last few days, the country has lost billions of rupees, the employment of the poor has been affected and the reputation of the country has been irreparably damaged.
Addressing a press conference, he said that if the former prime minister was innocent, why was he arrested and if he was guilty, then he was released.
Dr. Hanif Mughal said that it should be investigated that who was behind this game and responsible should be punished.
The national crisis is getting more serious with each passing day. All the important institutions and political parties have jumped into the fray promoting stupidity and ignorance.
Someone in behind this dirty game otherwise angry mobs would not have destroyed properties and blocked roads with such ease, he observed.
The way in which the leaders of a political group have expressed their views about the army and other institutions created sentiments against these institutions, so they cannot show indifference to all this vandalism, he added.
Dr Hanif Mughal said that it seems everyone agrees on increasing anarchy and everyone disagrees on reforming the country.
The Supreme Court not only granted bail to the former prime minister in all cases but also directed not to arrest him in any case, on which the PDM announced a sit-in in front of the Supreme Court on Monday.
Differences within the establishment have thrown every institution into this fight. The federal cabinet has considered issues like banning PTI and other proposals that will lead to more chaos in the country.
The conduct of influential has made all the institutions unreliable to the masses. Two or three laws are running simultaneously in the country. One is for VIP politicians, the second is for ordinary political workers and the third is for poor people.
If this contradiction continues, the same message will be sent to the supporters of Maulana Hidayat Rahman that they should take the law into their hands. Vandalize, attack every government institution, get bail and VIP protocol too.
In Pakistan leaders are caught frequently, cases are filed and punishments are awarded such a reaction is inappropriate. Now every institution has become unreliable. In the current situation, the country is rapidly falling into the pit, but the power lords seem unconcerned.
