Dubai — The ongoing campaign by Index Exchange titled “Ab ki baar… chaand sitaray se pyaar!” has emerged as a powerful expression of patriotism among the Pakistani expatriate community in the UAE. Launched to promote legal channels of money transfer, the campaign has received tremendous appreciation, becoming a milestone in national awareness and financial responsibility.

As part of this initiative, customers sending remittances through legal means via Index Exchange are being gifted the Pakistani flag — a symbol of national pride — and are automatically entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win return tickets to Pakistan.

In the most recent draw, several lucky winners were announced, making the campaign even more exciting and meaningful for the community.

Syed Abdus Salam, Chief Operating Officer of Index Exchange, thanked the community for their participation and remarked:

“Legal remittances are not just financial transactions; they are a patriotic act. The community’s heartfelt response to this campaign is truly commendable.”

Mir Kay Rasool, Chief Business Officer, added:

“Index Exchange deeply values the trust of the Pakistani community. Supporting initiatives that benefit the nation through lawful financial practices is part of our mission.”

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, also praised the campaign. He described “Ab ki baar… chaand sitaray se pyaar!” as a powerful, nationalistic initiative that effectively counters illegal channels like Hundi and Hawala.
He said:

“This campaign is a strong message against unlawful remittance practices. Every patriotic citizen should express their love for the national flag and support legal remittances.”

The campaign continues until June 5, 2025, and all senders using Index Exchange through legal channels will receive a Pakistani flag and enter the next lucky draw.

More than a slogan, “Ab ki baar… chaand sitaray se pyaar!” is now the voice of overseas Pakistanis — reflecting their love for their homeland, support for financial transparency, and commitment to national development.
