Preparations for the ” Aalmi Mushaira” have already started one month before the organization and first of all, the beginning of the World Mushaira was a Mushaira “Nujwanan Saknoran Yadab” dated: March 9, 2024, at Union Club, Siraj. Held at Al-Dawla Road, Near Tariq Road, Karachi. The director of which is Gul Muhammad Iqbal, it should be remembered that this Mushaira was started last year on February 27, 2023, to encourage the young poets of Karachi, to love their culture and to advance the services of Urdu literature.
Which was appreciated not only in Karachi but all over Pakistan and new poets made their place, the beautiful poems were seen by the audience and received good applause.
who are always striving for the services of Urdu literature throughout the year, the mushaira was started by Farhan Ur Rahman with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Nizamat Agha Shirazi, as the guest, Professor Shahransari, Dr. Farhanur Rahman, Jamal Azhar and Syed Tarab Shah and others were present.
Famous literary personalities Zafar Bhopali, Dr. Oj Kamal, Manzar Hani, Dr. Shadab Ehsani, Hasan Imam Siddiqui, Owais Adeeb Ansari, Dr. Shabir Hussain, Dr. Sultan Ahmed, Rehana Ruhi, Rehan Mehmood Khan, Farooq Arshi and many others participated in this occasion. The young poets of Karachi were given an opportunity in the mushaira, and the guests, dear poets, and the audience kept praising them after listening to their poems, including Sidra Karim, Ahmed Zahib, Zubair Raj, Aurangzeb, Ms. Hussain Naz, Nazia Ghos, Shaista Sehar, Alina Mir, Gul Afshan, Waleed Ahmed, Dilawar Ali Azad, Yasir, Shahid Shahab, Masood Shahzeb, Farrukh Izhar, Kamran Nafees and Tajur Shakeel presented their speech in their unique style. The poetry of Maria Mahoosh, Shazia Alam Shazia, and Dr. Mana Azmi charmed the audience and they cheered heartily. At the end of the performance, all the guests were presented with bouquets. And all the young poets were presented with the beautiful shield of Sakanan Shahr Quaid “Alami Mushaira”, a photo session was also held with the dear guests.
Dr. Pirzada Qasim Raza while addressing said that since 1989 we have kept alive this tradition of our elders and whatever the circumstances, we have tried to continue this tradition and now we are organizing the 29th “World Mushairah”. are going to be held, the most important thing is that this international Mushaira has started concerning today’s Mushaira “Nujwanan Sakhnoran y-Adab” its special thing is that young poets have come forward in it and this Urdu literature The “future” of Karachi is looking bright in terms of service.
Prof. Sahar Ansari’s love for Urdu literature, the special guest of the Mushaira, can be estimated from the fact that he encouraged the poets by actively participating despite his ill health, he said that the beginning of such a Mushaira is a good tradition that New talent is emerging, new poets should spend time in the company of senior poets, in this way their ability will increase and they will be aware of the depth of Urdu poetry and they will shine the name of Pakistan by becoming international poets. Mehmood Ahmad Khan, head of the International Mushaira Committee, said that it is important to present its history briefly for the newcomers, that even in all unfavorable circumstances, we have continued this prestigious and great tradition in the past, we are keeping it and God willing. He said that the “Mushira Organizing Committee” was formed in 1988 to organize the first international Mushaira. Zeitgeist Azhar Hashmi (President) and Dr. Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui (Vice President) and Prof. Mukram Ali Sherwani (General Secretary) were nominated, it has the services of scholars, poets, writers, writers, lawyers, and doctors, the first historic “World Mushaira” under “Saknan Shahr Quaid Karachi” was held on Wednesday, March 22, 1989, on the occasion of “Pakistan Day” on the lawn of “National Stadium Karachi”. After fame and great success, on January 7, 2005, the formal foundation of “Saknan Shahr Quaid (Trust)” was established. Under this trust, four important personalities were also awarded for their valuable services in 2010. This global Mushaira of Quaid Karachi created new dates of fame, as the time of its convening approaches, various committees are formed which continue to perform their work well till its end. Meetings are called at the places and performance reports are presented to the audience, souvenirs/magazines are also prepared which are published after the end of the “Alami Mushaira”, he added that Pakistan Poets are invited from different cities in India, Saudi Arabia, Canada, France, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, UK, USA, and other countries, all their expenses are borne by the administration of “Saknan Shahr Qaid”. And only those who love Urdu literature, poetry, make these musicians successful and this is the only international music festival in the world, which is made successful by more than twenty thousand fans with their interest and presence and from the beginning. After all, from ten o’clock in the night, they continue to enjoy the Azan of Fajr until the end and praise and praise each poem of the poets. This ancient tradition of poetry is disappearing from our society in every era. Those who love Urdu and are attached to poetry are at the forefront in the service of literature, the words of poetry, regardless of language, are sweet, soft, tender, full of love, touching the height of love in the heart. Captivating the mind, holding the listener in its spell, and the heart is forced to wow, wow at every verse, the greatest thing in poetry is a lesson, an experience, our role in the environment, which is Bitter or sweet, the whole world is taken in a poem and no one celebrates the bad, but enjoys it, shouts and shouts “wah wah” and showers the flowers of Nashaar-e-Kamar (again guidance).
