ILLINOIS : Researchers at the University of Illinois in the US have discovered a new way to make French fries crispy and flavorful even with less oil. This method uses microwaves along with traditional frying, which allows the fries to cook better even with less oil and maintains their crispiness. Researchers say that this technique not only does not affect the taste but also reduces the amount of fat in the food, allowing consumers to enjoy French fries in a relatively healthy way. The research was published in Current Research in Food Science and the Journal of Food Science. According to experts, although French fries are generally considered an unhealthy food, scientists have focused on making them less harmful.
