THAILAND : If you were asked who the richest person in the world is, the answer would undoubtedly be Elon Musk. Your answer is correct, but when it comes to splendor, Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn, also known as King Rama, is unmatched. King Ram is considered the richest king in the world. Even though he may not have as much wealth as Elon Musk, his luxurious lifestyle would make any rich person jealous. There are many other kings in the world who have immense wealth, but King Ram is considered unique among them all, because the main reason for the increase in his immense wealth is rent. King Ram’s total wealth is estimated at around $50 billion or ?4.5 lakh crore. The Crown Property Bureau, which the king took control of in 2018, has been under his control since then. The king’s wealth can be gauged from the fact that he owns properties across Thailand, which generate thousands of crores of rupees in rent every year. The value of these properties is a different matter. Thai King Rama II’s main source of income is the rent he receives from his properties. It is estimated that he owns approximately 6,560 hectares (16,210 acres) of land and properties in Thailand. It has rental agreements with more than 40,000 properties built on these lands. More than 17,000 of these properties are in Bangkok alone, including commercial buildings, hotels, palaces, and resorts. These properties clearly generate thousands of crores of rupiah in rent for the king every year. This is his biggest source of income. Rajaram owns about 23 percent of Thailand’s second-largest banking group, Siam Commercial Bank, which is his second-largest source of income. He also owns a 33% stake in Siam Cement Group, the country’s second-largest industrial group. These two companies are his biggest source of income. This income makes Raja Ram the richest monarch in the world. Raja Ram’s luxurious lifestyle can be gauged from the fact that he owns thousands of properties, so much so that if he spends just one night in one property, he can live in different properties for 47 years. Additionally, they have a fleet of 38 private jets and planes, including several helicopters. King Ram’s palace has over 300 luxury cars, including supercars like Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Mercedes. Additionally, their luxury assets include 52 gold-plated yachts, diamonds, gems, and gold and silver jewelry.
