Government should declare public holiday on the occasion of Nowruz.
KARACHI: Chairman of International Lawyers Forum (ILF) Nasir Ahmed Advocate has demanded a public holiday on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 across the country on the occasion of Nowruz.
In a letter addressed to the President of Pakistan Dr. ArifAlvi, ILF Chairman Nasir Ahmed Advocate demanded that Pakistan belonging to other schools of thought including Shia, Gilgiti, Balistani, Hanzai, Dawoodi Bohra, Ismaili, Parsi and Bahai communitiesand millions of citizens celebrate Nowruz according to their own beliefs.
