Karachi: Members of ALFAAZZ Hybrid Learning Platform, Pakistan’s first digital school met with Mr. Ghulam Akbar Laghari, Honourable Secretary, Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh, to request registration of the platform as a digital school. Also present in the meeting was Dr. Fouzia Khan, Chief Advisor, School Education and Literacy Department.
The meeting began with a brief introduction of ALFAAZZ and its role in online interactive learning locally and globally.
It led to a discussion on the need for recognizing and registering DIGITAL schools, and the systemic and academic changes that are needed to make this possible.
The meeting ended on a note pledging all stakeholders’ efforts to ensure the literacy of out-of-school children through digital as well as traditional means.
