Kyiv: Russia has attacked the Ukrainian port of Odessa.
According to foreign media, Russian missiles hit the southern port of Odessa in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military said Russian missiles hit infrastructure in the Ukrainian port of Odessa, a day after Russia and Ukraine signed an agreement to reopen Black Sea ports.
Operational Command South wrote in a telegram on Saturday that the enemy attacked Odessa seaport with Kalibr cruise missiles, 2 missiles were shot down by air defense forces while 2 hit port infrastructure.
According to local Ukrainian media, the missiles did not cause any significant damage.
Ukraine’s president called the attack “barbaric” and said Moscow could not be trusted to implement the deal. Zelinsky said that we currently have $10 billion worth of grain, despite the attack, preparations for grain exports are ongoing.
It should be remembered that 2 days before the mediation of the Turkish president, an agreement was reached between Ukraine and Russia for grain exports.
