President 2021-22 of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, Ali Haider, said that promotion of peace, eradication of diseases, provision of sanitation including clean drinking water, meeting the shortage of food, generalization of education, promotion of local economy for elimination of unemployment and environmental pollution are among Rotary International’s priorities. He said that no society can develop without education so we have to take steps to make up for the educational loss incurred during Corona.
On the occasion, Assistant Governor RY 2021-22 Rotary International Districts 3271, Kauser Aslam said that our mission is to reduce illiteracy in the country for which all Rotarians are working day and night. He said that Rotary International is educating children through e-library for various reasons. “Education is a basic right of every human being which should be provided in all circumstances so that everyone can play their role in the development and prosperity of the country,” She said.
Addressing the in meeting, Founder & Executive Secretary RCK Nexus, Aslam Khaliq said that Rotary International was not only providing e-library facility to the street children but also ensuring the provision of library for imparting education to the inmates in the jails. Education is going on all over the world because no one can deny the importance of education but due to lockdown children are getting away from education which is a matter of concern for everyone.
Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary 2021-22 RCK Nexus, Zubair Bawaja said that the efforts of Rotary International to make education universal are commendable. He said that everyone has the right to education so Rotary International has adopted a number of schools to make education more universal and reduce illiteracy rates in the country. Zubair Bajwa said that children are our future and in order to make our future bright, we have to equip them with education.
