PMO directs officers of Balochistan to attend meetings about Public welfare

PM vociferously states not to give NRO to corrupt elements despite their blackmailing

ISLAMABAD – The senior officers of Federal Government departments in Balochistan have been directed by the Prime Minister Office to ensure their presence in the meetings about public welfare.

The direction has been issued in light of Governor Balochistan Amanullah Yasinzai’s report submitted to the Prime Minister regarding quarterly review of the federal government organizations’ performance and resolution of public complaints received on Citizen Portal. 

According to the Prime Minister Office, the Governor had complained to the Prime Minister about non-participation of senior federal government officers in Balochistan in such meetings, and the Prime Minister expressed displeasure over it.

The Prime Minister Office has warned that strict action will be taken if officers do not attend the meetings on public welfare.

The Prime Minister Deliver Unit has issued letters to all the relevant officers in this regard.

The performance of the dashboards of officers from seventeen federal government organizations in Balochistan was reviewed in the report. 

In Balochistan, the federal government departments received over eleven thousand complaints, and ninety percent of them have been resolved.
