The party reportedly authorised Gandapur to hold negotiations during a parliamentary party meeting on October 20.

The sources said PTI had set two main priorities for the talks. These include restoring Sohail Afridi’s government in KP and securing the release of arrested party workers.

The renewed contacts mark a possible reopening of political dialogue between PTI and the federal government.

Political Contacts Had Broken Down

Political engagement between the two sides reportedly stalled after authorities imposed Governor’s Rule in KP on October 11.

The latest development suggests that PTI has taken steps to resume negotiations. However, party sources have not publicly confirmed any agreement or formal outcome from the reported contacts.
