Binance launches Qafila 2026, a regional campaign offering US$1 million in USDC rewards to eligible users

ABU DHABI, October 20, 2026: Binance has launched Qafila 2026, a regional initiative designed to engage eligible users across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan. The campaign offers a total reward pool of US$1 million in USD Coin (USDC).

The initiative aims to help users explore a broader range of digital financial tools. These include trading, earning, payments, education and community engagement.

According to Binance’s internal data, users aged 18–29 account for 54% of its user base in Pakistan. Across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP), this age group represents 50% of users.

The figures highlight the growing role of younger users in the region’s digital finance ecosystem. However, they reflect Binance’s own user base rather than the wider population.

Binance Reports Growing Use of Digital Finance

Binance said its regional data shows that users are engaging with multiple products across its platform.

More than half of its verified users across MENAP, or 52.9%, have used at least two Binance product categories. These include trading, earning services, payments, Binance Square and Binance Academy.

The company said this trend reflects its efforts to expand beyond cryptocurrency trading. Its platform brings together financial tools, educational resources and community features.

Binance also reported a broader shift towards digital financial services in emerging markets. Its global data shows that 77% of its users are based in emerging markets, compared with 49% in 2020.

Younger Users Explore Traditional Financial Markets

Binance Research data also points to growing participation by younger users in traditional financial products offered through digital platforms.

According to the company, Gen Z accounts for 44% of its Direct Stocks and bStocks users. The share of Gen Z among new TradFi users also increased from 41% in January to 47% in July 2026.

Binance said these findings highlight the importance of access, product choice and financial education as younger users explore different financial services.

The company’s broader vision, described as “All Finance on Binance,” aims to bring digital assets, traditional financial markets and everyday financial tools together within one ecosystem.

Qafila Campaign Offers US$1 Million in Rewards

Tarik Erk, Head of MENAT and Senior Executive Officer at Binance, said the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan remain priority markets for the company.

“ MENA and Pakistan are priority markets for Binance, where growing digital adoption is changing what users expect from financial services,” Erk said.

He added that Binance aims to offer greater choice, practical utility and education through its broader financial ecosystem.

The name Qafila refers to a caravan. Binance said the concept reflects people moving forward together while pursuing their individual ambitions.

Eligible users can participate in campaign activities involving trading, Simple Earn and community referrals. Participation depends on market-specific rules and eligibility requirements.

The US$1 million reward pool is distributed under applicable campaign conditions. Tasks, eligibility criteria and rewards may vary by market and user. Participation does not guarantee a reward.

Binance Outlines Data Methodology

Binance said its demographic figures are based on internal user data for the MENAP region. The 50% regional figure and 54% Pakistan figure represent the share of users aged 18–29 in the respective user populations.

The multi-product adoption figure reflects platform activity recorded up to October 2026. Binance defines multi-product adoption as engagement with at least two of 12 product categories among verified users.

These categories include Spot, Convert, Futures, Margin, Earn, Equities, bStocks, Alpha, Binance Square, Binance Academy, Binance Pay and peer-to-peer trading. The data reflects historical usage and does not necessarily indicate ongoing or simultaneous activity.

Binance cautioned that digital asset prices can fluctuate and that users may lose some or all of their investment. It also noted that products and services may not be available in every region.

The company said Qafila participation and rewards remain subject to local availability and eligibility requirements.
