ISLAMABAD, July 24, 2026: FPCCI Meeting on corporate and multinational companies brought together business leaders and diplomatic representatives to explore opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation and expanding trade between Pakistan and Rwanda.

The 2nd meeting of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Corporate & Multinational Companies Affairs was chaired by FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh at the FPCCI President Secretariat in Islamabad.
The session was organised by Committee Convener Shafiq Khan Sawati and attended by Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, H.E. Harerimana Fatou, as the chief guest, along with First Secretary H.E. Kwibuka Esdras.
Among those present were FPCCI Vice President Tariq Khan Jadoon, Chairman Capital Office Karim Aziz Malik, Deputy Convener Ayesha Khan, Shumaila Ambreen, Raja Ishfaque Abbasi, Asim Abbasi, Former President Chaman Chamber Olas Khan, Rashid Humayon, Dr. Humaira Ambreen, Prof. Dr. Joharia Azhar, Adil Obaid, Amjed Ali Agha, Agha Majid, and other committee members.
Participants held detailed discussions on strengthening corporate collaboration and identifying new opportunities to enhance bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and Rwanda.
The meeting focused on expanding business partnerships, encouraging investment, and promoting stronger engagement between the private sectors of both countries. Participants also discussed ways to create new avenues for industrial cooperation and long-term economic growth.
The committee expressed confidence that closer collaboration between corporate stakeholders and government representatives would help deepen commercial relations and unlock new opportunities for businesses in Pakistan and Rwanda.
