LCCI Elections took centre stage as S.M. Tanveer, Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group (UBG), voiced his strong support for Ali Hassam Asghar, Chairman of the Pakistan Businessmen Group (PBG), during a gathering of the business community ahead of the forthcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections.

The event brought together leading members of the business community to discuss the upcoming chamber elections and the future direction of trade and industry representation.

Addressing participants, Tanveer stressed the importance of unity among business leaders and said the private sector needs strong, principled leadership to effectively represent the interests of Pakistan’s business and industrial community.

Expressing his confidence in Ali Hassam Asghar, Tanveer praised his dedication, integrity and commitment to serving the business community.

“Ali Hassam is like my younger brother. He has demonstrated remarkable dedication, integrity, and commitment in serving the business community. I have complete confidence in his leadership and wholeheartedly endorse his candidature for the upcoming Lahore Chamber elections.”

Tanveer urged the business community to stand together and extend its full support to Ali Hassam Asghar, saying visionary leadership is essential to strengthen the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and promote the collective interests of businesses across Pakistan.

He added that a united business community can play a vital role in addressing industry challenges, supporting economic growth and improving the country’s business environment.
