Babar Baloch, known by her social media alias Bebo Baloch, a TikToker and former model, has been arrested by police on charges of possessing and distributing drugs, including crystal meth (ice) and cocaine.
She was apprehended near 26th Street, Khayaban-e-Badr in Defence Phase 5, Karachi, where police recovered a quantity of ice from her possession. During initial interrogation, she allegedly confessed to both using narcotics and supplying them, especially in upscale neighborhoods like Defence.
Authorities claim that Bebo has previously been arrested twice in connection with theft cases and admitted to supplying drugs at private events and within elite social circles.
Who is Bebo Baloch?
Bebo, whose real name is Babar, hails from Gulshan-e-Iqbal and began her modeling career in 2007, later rising to popularity through TikTok. With an academic background up to the intermediate level, she transitioned into the entertainment and social media space.
Her personal life was reportedly marked by instability. After her parents divorced, her mother remarried in 2017, and Bebo allegedly faced hardship in her stepfather’s home. This eventually led her to move into an apartment in Muslim Commercial Area, where she began modeling and building an online following.
Behind her public image, police allege that Bebo was leading a double life. She was frequently seen attending private parties in affluent areas, where she was first introduced to drugs. Over time, she reportedly developed a substance addiction and became actively involved in distributing narcotics through personal networks and exclusive events.
