Karachi,Date: June 3, 2025 : Sindh’s Minister for Planning and Development, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has announced that in the upcoming 2025-26 budget, priority funding will be allocated for the completion of all ongoing development projects under the Annual Development Programme (ADP). The meeting was attended by Chairman P&D Najam Ahmed Shah, ministers, and secretaries from multiple departments. Syed Nasir Shah informed the participants that schemes for the 2025-26 budget should be prepared according to the vision of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and the guidelines and framework provided by the Chief Minister of Sindh. He emphasized that only those new schemes that are extremely necessary and serve the larger public interest should be included.

He stated that incomplete and half-finished development projects not only bring disrepute to the government but also cause severe inconvenience to the public and obstruct smooth traffic flow. He noted that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has issued strict directives to ensure all ongoing and incomplete schemes are completed first, and funds should be allocated for this purpose accordingly.

The meeting also included in-depth discussions on mega projects proposed by various departments.
