KARACHI, 26 July : Waqar Mehdi, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh and General Secretary of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh chapter, has said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s unwavering determination, courage, and leadership are a beacon of hope and strength for the nation. He stated that President Zardari’s political journey is a testament to his commitment to democratic principles, justice, and the betterment of the underprivileged.
Mehdi expressed these views while paying tribute to President Asif Ali Zardari on the occasion of his birthday cake-cutting ceremony in his office.
Waqar Mehdi congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari on his birthday. He also extended birthday greetings to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Bibi Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, and Mohtarma Faryal Talpur on this joyous occasion. Additionally, he conveyed birthday wishes to all the party loyalists on behalf of the PPP Sindh Chapter, celebrating President Asif Ali Zardari’s 69th birthday.
Paying tribute to President Asif Ali Zardari, Waqar Mehdi said that despite facing numerous challenges and making significant sacrifices, President Zardari has remained steadfast in his mission to uphold democracy and serve the people. During his tenure as President, significant strides were made towards strengthening democratic institutions, promoting economic development, and fostering national unity. His vision and strategic initiatives have laid the foundation for a more progressive and inclusive Pakistan.
Waqar Mehdi further stated that through tireless efforts and sacrifices, President Asif Ali Zardari has carried forward the mission of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, ensuring that their legacy continues to inspire and guide us in our quest for a just and equitable society. He prayed for President Asif Ali Zardari’s long life, good health, happiness, and success in all his endeavors.
Meanwhile, a cake-cutting ceremony was held in Waqar Mehdi’s office to celebrate President Asif Ali Zardari’s birthday. The event was attended by Asif Khan, Iqbal Sand, Riaz Baloch, Sarwar Khan Ghazi, Farrukh Niaz Tanuli, Iqbal Pirzada, Nomi and other leaders and office-bearers of PPP Karachi.
