Gold prices in Pakistan took a sharp downward turn on Monday, with the cost of 24-karat gold plummeting to Rs226,900 per tola after a notable decline of Rs600. This decline was mirrored in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which dropped by Rs515, now priced at Rs194,530. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw a decline, trading at Rs178,319.

Internationally, the price of gold also experienced a slight decline, dropping by $5 to reach $2,170 per ounce. The price of 24-karat silver in Pakistan also witnessed a slight dip, currently trading at Rs2,580.
