Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences has introduced facilities for pathology and ultrasound in Hussainabad Karachi. The introduction of ultrasound services in Hussainabad marks the beginning of expanding radiology facilities in this area. Prior to this, Dow Lab has already established radiology services at Ojha Campus, Malir, L.E.J. Campus near Darul Uloom Amjadiyah, and Nazimabad Inquiry Office. Professor Nasreen Naz, the head of Dow Institute of Radiology, mentioned these developments on the occasion of the lab inauguration at Hussainabad.
Registrar Dr. Ashar Afaq, Director Commercial Saleem Chouhan, Mubeen Durrani, and other staff members from Dow Lab were also present on this occasion.
Registrar Dr. Ashar Afaq stated that Dow University is providing the facility of Pathological and Radiological tests at subsidized rates through its Diagnostic Lab. This service is not only available in various areas of Karachi but also in other cities of the province, including Hub and Quetta in Balochistan. Our branches are fulfilling the responsibility of public service in these regions. Director Commercial Saleem Chouhan added that the process of expanding the affordable facilities at Dow Lab will continue, and the opening of Hussainabad branch is a part of that sequence.
