7th All Sindh Inter-Division Women Tug of War Championship held at PSH ended with Karachi’s victory while SBA & Hyderabad got 2 other positions

There is a need to take advantage of the facilities available here in a coordinated manner and play a significant role in the promotion of sports and players.” These views were expressed by Principal Public School Hyderabad Iqbal Memon while addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day 7th All Sindh Inter-Division Women Tug-of-War Championship organized by Hyderabad Divisional and Sindh Tug-of-War Associations under the patronage of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, Public School Hyderabad and Sindh Olympic Association.
He congratulated Sindh Tug-of-War Association Secretary Javed Iqbal Baig, Organizing Secretary Aisha Irum, Coordinator Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh and the Organizing Committee on the successful conclusion of the event. He specially congratulated the teams that achieved victory by presenting excellent sporting performances. Sindh Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput in his address termed the organization of such events as encouraging and thanked everyone for coming. The event was also addressed by the guests of honor, District Sports Officer Shaheed Benazirabad Abdul Rahim Rajput, Javed Iqbal Baig and Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh.
In the end, the special guest Iqbal Memon distributed prizes among the guests of honor, committee members, Vice Principal Fazal Din, Principal Girls Section Fozia Siddiqui, Rehan Sheikh, Sanam Rehan. Earlier, on the occasion of the semi-finals and third position matches played, District Sports Officer Hyderabad Maryam Kerio visited and enjoyed the matches. On this occasion, she said that the competitions will continue to be organized with the cooperation of the Sports Department, Government of Sindh, Sindh Olympic Association and others.
Championship ended with Karachi’s victory, Shaheed Benazirabad won the runner-up trophy while Hyderabad won the second runner-up trophy. Principal Public School Hyderabad Iqbal Memon distributed the trophies, medals, certificate & shields along with Secretary SOA Ahmed Ali Rajput, Javed Iqbal, Organizers Aisha Irum, Pervez Sheikh, Abdul Rahim Rajput
On this occasion, Javed Malik, Muhammad Faizan Sheikh, Syed Salman Jafri, Ramiz Raja, Muhammad Shahid, Adam Qureshi, Ahmed Nawaz, Muhammad Haroon, Muhammad Nadeem, Anila Mehwish, Abdul Rahim Khan, Nakash Ahmed, Irfan Siddiqui, Abdul Hadi, Wasil Sheikh and others were present.
